About Ghost Bird Studios
Established in 2015, Ghost Bird Studios is a music production and graphic design studio owned by Mike Lamb (Sojourner) and Heike Langhans (ex-Draconian, :LOR3L3I:, ex-ISON).
We provide a range of audio engineering services from full productions to songwriting, mixing and mastering (Mike); graphic design, album art, merch design, photo editing and physical artwork commissions (Heike); and music services such as soundtrack work and songwriting collaboration (both).
No project is too big or too small, and we cater to a range of styles and budgets, so send us an email using the form below and let us know what you need so we can find a solution together!
Audio Production
Full productions where we work closely with the band on everything from choosing the perfect tones and sonic elements, adding post-production, editing performances, and working together to refine the songs.
The level of our involvement is entirely up to you, but this approach generally leads to the best results on the final product.
Mixing songs or albums where the band has already produced all audio elements themselves with finalised tones and edited takes before providing us with the final .wavs.
If you want to take the mixing-only route, get in touch with us as early in the process as possible (preferably before tracking) so that we can get talk through the delivery formats and file naming to save later effort.
Mastering for Streaming, CD, or Vinyl.
Most work we do is mixed and mastered as part of a package, but we do a few mastering-only jobs for bands that have either mixed their own albums, need to have it mastered for a different platform from the original mixes, or prefer to go with separate mixing and mastering engineers.

We also accept commissions through the studio in the form of soundtrack work and songwriting collaborations. We’ll consider jobs on a case-by-case basis due to the time demands of working on external projects, but we’re always keen to hear offers and we’ll do our best to try to accommodate your project.
